We use HealthFusion the industry leader in web based software for both PM, and EHR
Where do payments go when claims are reimbursed?
All payments go directly to you. We request that you send or fax us a copy of the EOB or verification of payment so our records can be kept up to date for patient invoices and adjustments.
Does Advanced Medical Consultants also mail out patient statements?
We send out patient statements as often as weekly. We've found that regular statement mailings reduces turnaround time and allow for receipt by the patient quickly after services are rendered. Reminder statements are sent after 60 days if payment is not received, unless you request otherwise.
Does Advanced Medical Consultants assist patients with billing inquiries?
We know how important your patients are to you so we make it our goal to treat them with the up most courteously and respect we understand the impression we leave with your patients reflects on your practice. We have a team of professional customer service specialist to respond to billing inquiries. As part of our standard service there is no additional charge to you for our in-depth customer support.
How are Advanced Medical Consultants fees determined?
Fees are always based on a percentage of collections. We don't charge based on claims submitted, but on reimbursements received. This approach creates a synergistic relationship and an immediate incentive for us to work together toward the goal of your success.
Are there any start-up fees?
Advanced Medical Consultants does not have a set up fees or start up costs. There may however be a small data migration fee if you want to transfer patient information from another software.
Are there any start-up fees for new practice?
There may be some fees for starting the payer enrollment process this is not only reasonable but necessary for your success. Contract negotiation is one of our specialties.
How will Advanced Medical Consultants receive my information for daily claims generation?
We have several method for gathering your data generally it will automatically load into our system please see: "Our System" on the Services tab for more details. We also accept billing information by mail or overnight delivery if you prefer. Either way, we keep your claims current.How often will you invoice our practice?
We will send an invoice once a month only on the claims that were successfully submitted and paid.
Is Advanced Medical Consultants HIPPA complaint?
Yes! Advanced Medical Consultants is completely HIPAA compliant and has developed a program to support "Best practices for Medical Billing Services".
How long does it take to get started?
We can begin as soon as you are set up in our system. Our staff will walk you through the process it's painless. Once everything is completed we can start submitting claims within a few days.
